Heart bunting

Sun burst Granny Hearts caught my eye looonnnggg time ago.  And saw the light of the day a couple of days ago.  These pics were taken a few days ago and I have been wanting to share it here on my blog. Finally!

They brighten up the area no wonder.  It brightened up the time I spent crocheting them too.  Got to play with colours.  Such an easy pattern shared by the lovely lady Jacquie of Bunny Mummy  here.

The progression of circles into hearts :)

Turquoise blue can never be photographed in its original colour...

I tried out at different places and finally it adorns the doorway to my kitchen.

Pretty.... and satisfying.... and quick.... and ADDICTIVE.

  1. Wow... finally a new project from you after a long time. And a lovely one too. Looks super. I love the various buntings I come across but same problem - where to hang them. Somehow I have never liked torans outside the door. Maybe I will follow you and use them somewhere inside. Nice happy colours. Are you moving yet or is there some time?

    1. Thanks Sangeetha. I love traditional torans. But yes. Usage of handmade crocheted buntings are rarely seen here.

Lot of time for me to move to the new place. May be sometime next year :)

  2. I've seen the pattern on her blog but haven't tried it yet. Definitely will have to give it a go soon. Your garland is lovely. And I do love hearts! Best wishes, Tammy

    1. Thanks Tammy. Its quite a simple design and after a heart or two, the pattern gets `fixed'. One does not even have to refer to the same. Doesn't it make a nice handmade gift?
